What it is
On the morning of September 2, 2026, every page of the association’s official site, sjvhoa.org, displayed the hosting vendor’s “Account Payment Due” notice. The board-members page, documents library, calendar, gate forms and FAQ were unreachable. By that afternoon the site was back, with the calendar showing a board meeting on Sept 22.
Why it matters to you
The official site is where owners are supposed to find meeting notices, governing documents, and the board roster. With it dark, an owner who wants to check the new fine schedule or find out when the next meeting is has nowhere official to look - during the same weeks a new fine schedule took effect.
What the rules say
- NRS 116.31083 requires notice of board meetings to owners; the association may use its website for this, but if it does, the website has to work.
- NRS 116.31175 entitles owners to the association’s records on request regardless of whether the website is up.
Dues payments and many documents actually live on the Western Nevada Management portal, not sjvhoa.org - see Official links for which system does what.
What the board has said
No statement known.
Current status
Resolved. Offline observed the morning of Sept 2, 2026; back online the same afternoon. Kept on record: if it happens again, the pattern matters.
What you can do
- If you see the vendor notice again, screenshot it with the date and tell us.
- Ask at owner comment whether the hosting bill is on autopay.
